Great peel at home
I have previously only had peels at the spa or Drs. But I really enjoy being able to do a peel at home. I can feel the peel but it’s not too strong. And can see improvements. I have been using it regularly twice a week for about a month. No issues with my sensitive skin. Smells great.

Great Product
I just think I like the Licorice Root peel better because I saw better results. This is definitely helps prevent my face from breaking out so bad with having to wear a mask, so it is working well.

Acai exfoliating peel
I think this is a great product, but either the jar has very little product in it or the delivery system wastes the product. I still have so much product with all the other Eminence purchases in the same time frame. I would buy this in a bottle but not in this packaging again.

Fantastic!
My esthetician introduced me to this product, and the fact that exfoliating studies now say you should do it on a consistent basis and several times a week. I love this way with the pad. I often have issues with scents. This scent is very light, and I love it. Yes, it dissipates quickly. I noticed a difference after I started using this pad/peel. Firmer skin, clearer skin. I'm in love!

Best Organic Firming Exfoliate
Eminence products work great without harming your sensitive skin. I use the Acai Firming peel along with the Eminence Brightening peel. I alternate the mornings I use the peels. If I have a big event that day, I will use the Brightening Peel first then the Acai Firming peel. Then I put on my serum and moisturizer. My skin looks clearer (less brown spots) and feels more taunt (firmer). I really like this product and will continuing using it with these great results.

Wake Up With Soft Skin!
This peel is gentle enough for sensitive skin and gives it a glow and radiance without drying. I only use two pumps on a cotton wool and follow with the Monoi cream. You won't believe how soft and smooth your skin will feel.

Didn't know what to expect from a peel...
but I love this product! I was afraid it would make my face peel but it doesn't. I use it every 3-4 days and it feels so refreshing. No itching or burning. I wait a few minutes then put a serum on over for the night. I've also been using it on some dark skin on my knee (caused by a reaction to an antiseptic during knee surgery 18 months ago). Hoping it does the trick!

How do you use Eminence Willow Bark exfoliating peel? ›Dispense one to two pumps of the solution on one of the dual-textured cotton round pads provided. Apply in circular motions covering the face and neck, avoiding the eye area and leave on. Use up to three times per week as required. IMPORTANT: Skin will be more sensitive to the sun.
Do I moisturize after exfoliating? ›After exfoliating your face or body, it's important to always follow up with a moisturizer, said Zeichner, who usually pairs exfoliating products with moisturizers that have skin-repairing ingredients such as niacinamide, ceramides and/or oatmeal. He recommended moisturizers from CeraVe, La Roche-Posay and Aveeno.
Do you wash off exfoliating rub? ›If you use a scrub or chemical exfoliator, apply the product gently using small, circular motions. Do this for about 30 seconds, and then rinse off with lukewarm — not hot — water.
How often should I use an exfoliating peel? ›You can generally get a peel once every four to six weeks. Some peels, such as those targeting acne, can be done every two weeks until you achieve the desired results. This last point is key, for it is your skin's health and the concerns you want to be addressed that determine the type of peel you need.
How often can you use exfoliating peel? ›Most experts advise that you exfoliate two to three times per week — as long as your skin can handle it. Chemical exfoliants tend to be fine to use more regularly. Physical methods, on the other hand, may be too abrasive to use multiple times a week.
How many drops of exfoliating serum should I use? ›Experienced users can apply 2-3 drops of the serum on dry skin after face wash and follow up with a moisturiser. Step 3 : Moisturise. Should you put anything on your face after exfoliating? ›Apply Moisturizers
if you just finished exfoliating your face, or any other body part, the most important thing to remember is to stay moisturized. While one exfoliation won't completely strip your skin of all of its oil, it will remove most of it, leaving the surface dry.
While a single exfoliating session won't strip the skin of all its moisture, repeatedly exfoliating without properly following up with a good moisturizer can leave your face feeling and looking dryer than it did pre-exfoliation.

How long do you leave exfoliator on before moisturizer? ›You can test this yourself with a well formulated exfoliant: at night, apply your AHA or BHA as usual after cleansing and toning, and do a "split-test." What days are the worst after a chemical peel? ›Day three and four post-chemical peel
Day three and four are when you will likely experience the worst peeling and flaking. Your skin is most likely to feel uncomfortable these days — and it's also at its most vulnerable.
Generally speaking, board-certified dermatologist Lian A. Mack, MD, says exfoliating daily isn't recommended for many skin types as it will strip skin of its natural oils, leaving it feeling overly dry, which can then result in irritation and inflammation.
Why should you not over exfoliate your face? ›While getting rid of skin impurities on a regular basis is good, doing it too much can aggravate the skin. Over-exfoliation can lead to redness, irritation, and may leave the skin inworse condition than what you started with.

Chemical peels unclog your pores and remove blackheads from the surface of your skin. At the same time, they're also able to deposit ingredients into the skin that help your post-pimple marks fade away. The best chemical peel for acne will contact salicylic and lactic acid.

Is salicylic acid better than willow bark? ›"Even in small concentrations of 0.5 percent to 1 percent, salicylic acid may cause irritation, redness, flaking, and dryness. Those with sensitive skin may actually break out more because of salicylic acid." On the other hand, salicin in willow bark extract is a much gentler version of salicylic acid.

Does exfoliating help sagging skin? ›If saggy skin after weight loss is troubling you, then you must try exfoliating your body. That's because it will help promote blood circulation and remove dead skin cells from the surface. You could use a dry skin brush before you shower, just work it in circular motions starting from your feet and up to your heart.
Should skin be wet or dry for exfoliating? ›Dry exfoliating is considered to have more benefits because the removal of dirt and dead cells is more efficient when the skin is dry. Water pumps up the skin, which makes wet brushing a bit less effective.
Do you put firming serum before or after moisturizer? ›As such, a serum should always be applied before a moisturizer to allow the key ingredients to deeply hydrate and nourish. The moisturizer then works to lock those ingredients in.
What is the difference between skin booster and serum? ›“A booster is a much more concentrated selection of ingredients designed to treat specific concerns, while serums are more all-encompassing.

This ensures your skin is clean and prepped for exfoliation, and the warm water ensures your skin is damp and soft.
What happens when you don't exfoliate? ›Poor exfoliation is a leading cause of blackheads and whiteheads, some of the most common signs of acne. You can also develop “undergrowth” without regular exfoliation. This is comprised of not only dead skin cells but also trapped dirt and oil, which can lead to ingrown hairs.
How long does it take to see benefits of exfoliating? ›You will already start to see an improvement in your skin after just 10 minutes of use; it should look brighter, smoother, and more even. However, if you want long-term, highly noticeable results from exfoliating, such as reduced blackheads, whiteheads, and acne, it can take between 6-8 weeks.
What not to do after exfoliating? ›Exfoliating won't cure blemish-prone skin overnight, so once you've finished exfoliating, the best thing you can do is leave your skin alone. It may be tempting, but stay away from the mirror and don't pick or squeeze anything on your face. It will only make it red and more noticeable.
How long should I wait to moisturize after exfoliating? ›
You don't need to wait for the BHA or AHA to absorb or dry; you can apply any other product in your routine - moisturiser, serum, eye cream, or sunscreen - immediately afterwards.
